I think back on the times I was preggy and I had NO IDEA what I was in for. What I imagined Evelyn to be doesn't even compare to what she is. She has exceeded every expectation and has blessed me beyond what I could have ever imagined. We prayed so long and so hard for her and the Lord has truly blessed those prayers.
Month 3 has been fun. Evelyn has started to follow things with her eyes so well. She will watch me everywhere I walk. Or just follow my hand when I wave it around. She is also SO VOCAL. She is already a Chatty Cathy. She loves to mimic the sound you make. I'm thinking she is going to be musical. I sang a lot when she was in my belly, tried playing guitar and piano a lot too (didn't happen as often as I'd liked though). She smiles a ton. Like, pretty much all the time. If she starts to fuss, and you just smile at her, she will stop crying and smile at you. It's amazing. Happy baby = happy momma. She is a great sleeper. She takes solid naps and sleeps really great at night. So incredibly thankful. She's a great eater too. Obviously, just look at her ROLLS!! ahahah
Evelyn Loves:
- To roll over
- to pull my hair (OUCH! and don't even suggest me cut my hair... NEVER gonna happen)
- Hold on to toys (this is fairly new. I LOVE IT)
- Sit in her vibrating chair... even when mommy is laying out in the back yard (easiest and best baby... EVER)
- Explore her environment.
- To sit up (with help)
- Mommy's milk
- Her bunny (start praying we never lose it! ha!)
- 14 lbs
- 24.5 inches long
Evelyn still loves her Moby Wrap! However, we are getting pretty big and I'm thinking of getting an Ergo.

There will ALWAYS be a tutu involved. I just noticed the bows get bigger every month... oops.
I love being a mom. It's brought me so much joy. I love her more than my words can even express. Everyday, I love her more than the day before. Evelyn, you have stolen my heart. I thank God for you probably 10,000 times a day. Thank you for being you. I love watching you grow little peanut. Always be my little baby girl...
